You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Information Security Officer like you to be a part of our team.
Responsibilities:
• Define and implement a security program for Mobile Heartbeat.
• Proactively identify and define a plan to mitigate security risks.
• Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor and report on security control deficiencies.
• Liaise with Information Protection & Security at HCA Healthcare (our parent company), identifying the best ways to engage their team and knowledge to support our security and compliance efforts at Mobile Heartbeat.
• Be a source of expertise, guidance, and training to all departments on best practices and requirements of the organization’s security program.
• Co-ordinate with HR and Leadership to ensure that security incidents are appropriately investigated, and action is taken as needed.
• Maintain excellent relationships with all teams, managing any conflicts that arise from implementation of security procedures and controls.
• Monitor technology trends and emerging threats to proactively identify and mitigate any vulnerabilities.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
• 8+ Years in a Similar or Related Role.
• Significant experience with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, PCI) and applying these to identify appropriate controls necessary to maintain compliance
• Experience building a program based on nationally recognized frameworks (e.g., NIST CISA, ISO 27001) and best practices.
• Experience leading organizations to successfully obtain and maintain third party certifications that attest to the presence and effectiveness of their security program.
• Functional knowledge of software and systems behavior, including such topics as Networking, Firewalls, Identity Management, Auditing, Log Management, etc.
• Knowledge of and experience with threat modeling, vulnerability testing and penetration testing.
