Job Summary and Qualifications

Mobile Heartbeat, a subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, is looking for a talented individual to lead their accounting and finance function. For the first year, the position will report to a Senior Finance Executive and on January 1, 2023, this position will become the Financial and Accounting Leader at Mobile Heartbeat. The right individual will be a self-starter who can complete tasks on her or his own or direct someone in the organization responsible for them.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to complete all elements of accounting and reporting:
  • Monthly Revenue and G/L Accounting

    Billing and Accounts Receivable

    Accounts Payable

    Sales Commissions Calculations

  • Manage annual company budgeting and forecasting process
  • Develop Monthly variance analysis
  • Develop Monthly Operating Review (MOR) report presentation
  • Through 2022, the above items will be guided by a Senior Finance Executive. Subsequently, this position will report to the CEO of Mobile Heartbeat and will be primarily responsible for the above items.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in progressive accounting and finance roles
  • A strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
  • General ledger experience a must
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability and desire to work with various people throughout the organization to gather and share information
  • Following skills a plus:
  • Software industry experience

    Software revenue recognition

    Budgeting and forecasting skills a big plus

    Experience with PowerPoint presentations

    Track record of build relationships across the organization

    An understanding of the Software industry

    Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce,com and other system tools

    Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills

    BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
