Job Summary and Qualifications

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) & Mobile Heartbeat Field Sales work with customers to identify sales opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. As a Mobile Heartbeat Inside Sales Representative, you will work closely with external Field Sales and the Mobile Heartbeat Channel Manager and (Reseller) Channel Partners to convert demand into sales opportunities and Mobile Heartbeat customers. 

New Business Generation:

  • Be creative and implement activities to contact new customers and generate new business. Take 100% ownership of building and creating team pipeline.
  • Work together with Mobile Heartbeat Marketing to deliver measured results from campaigns, programs, and events.

Sales:

  • Follow up with and qualify leads, whether created by you or passed to you via Field Sales or Marketing teams.
  • Contact prospects and Channel Partners via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and webinars/tradeshows.
  • Cultivate qualified leads and manage sales process for customers to uncover how Mobile Heartbeat can solve their clinical communication problems, then work with Field Sales, Channel Partners, and customers to define opportunities, set up meetings, and convert to customer orders.
  • Build relationships w/Channel Partners and Field Sales to hand-off qualified leads.
  • Work effectively with your Regional Channel Partners and Field Sales to help build revenue momentum in the territory.
  • Work with Field Sales to accurately quote Mobile Heartbeat product, forecast revenue, and track leads & associated activities using Salesforce.com CRM 

Sales/Technical:

  • Acquire a basic knowledge of our full range of Mobile Heartbeat products and services. Candidate must be able to work with Field Sales to create quotes to end customers in conjunction and collaboration with the Channel partners.
  • Leverage technical support where appropriate but eventually gain the ability to work independently.
  • Deliver effective and professional elevator pitch, sales presentations and demos via phone and web (WebEx) technology.
  • Convey product knowledge to potential clients, adhering to company branding, messaging and positioning.
  • Continuously stay up to date on technologies relevant to the Mobile Heartbeat business lines

Build strength / Analyze:

  • Candidate MUST be prepared to support activities to track and analyze their own and the company’s effectiveness in creating new business via Salesforce.com CRM
  • Candidate MUST Document, track, monitor and update all leads and activities in Salesforce.com CRM tool, as required

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Personal drive, enthusiasm and energy to achieve and surpass goals.
  • Interest in minor travel (Events, Trade Show support, QBRs, Channel Partner meetings, etc.)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-Starter with the potential to lead (desire to grow into Field Sales position a plus).
  • Strong interest in technology and clinical communications business - previous technology and healthcare experience a plus.
  • Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to work with Field Sales and Channels.
  • Commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective & existing internal and external customers and Partners.
  • Previous experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com a plus).
  • Excellent computer skills, specific proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Slack and Cisco WebEx, and an aptitude to learn new applications is required (basic Apple knowledge or experience a plus).
