At Mobile Heartbeat, you’ll be working with cutting edge technologies and having a direct impact on healthcare delivery in hospitals across the United States. Our MH-CURE product is used by nurses, doctors, and other care providers across a range of hospitals, providing secure clinical communication, access to patient data and care teams as well as delivery of alerts and alarms.

Job Overview

In this role, the Solutions Engineer works across named customer accounts providing technical thought leadership, support, planning, and optimization for the Mobile Heartbeat platform and products. A combination of technical aptitude, analytical skills, problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and drive to help the customer are critical to success in this role.

Mobile Heartbeat has both on-premise and cloud solutions and the Solutions Engineer will be working across both platforms.

  • In this role you will work with named customer accounts on all technical matters including system architecture design, deployment, upgrades, configuration, and optimization
  • You will deploy and support custom integrations and technology solutions
  • Be able to work cross-functionally with implementation, sales, product and other Mobile Heartbeat teams
  • Become a product expert, understanding the interrelationships of MH-CURE software, device operating software, the environment in which the product operates, and the workflows desired by the customer
  • Create tools, scripts and/or programs to support MH-CURE product implementation & maintenance
  • Oversee technical support at named accounts, providing a point of escalation for any customer issues
Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Be an open, professional, and transparent communicator; the ideal candidate is able to customize messages appropriately depending on the audience, including customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively execute multiple tasks with competing priorities. Comfortable working in an interrupt-driven environment. Make logical decisions in stressful situations
  • Be pragmatic and curious, with ability to learn independently
  • Able to work occasional flexible hours including late nights and early mornings when required
  • 5% travel or less
Beneficial Skills and Experience
  • BA/BS degree in CS or a related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Relational and Document Databases
  • Experience delivering applications through one or more of the following: vSphere, AWS, GCP, Azure or OpenStack
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (such as PowerShell or Python)
  • Familiarity with technologies used by MH including VoIP, XMPP, HL7 and WCTP
  • Familiarity with tools and products used by MH, including but not limited to Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, Microsoft Windows Server, iOS, Android
