About the Job

At Mobile Heartbeat, you’ll be working with cutting edge technologies and having a direct impact on healthcare delivery in hospitals across the United States. Our MH-CURE product is used by nurses, doctors and other care providers across a range of hospitals, providing secure clinical communication, access to patient data and care teams as well as delivery of alerts and alarms.

This is an opportunity to work on an enterprise platform that directly impacts clinical workflows, ultimately impacting patient outcomes.

As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will work directly with agile engineering teams, product managers and company stakeholders to lead cross-functional teams through feature definition, design, development, and delivery resulting in high-quality software releases focused on specific strategic objectives. You will bring a SAFe background to our existing programs with proven ability to contribute to tactical execution spanning the entire company portfolio.

 Responsibilities

  • As a servant leader for the agile team, understand and learn how to scale agile practices across Mobile Heartbeat.
  • Define release goals, guide programs identifying risk, acceptance criteria and participate in scrum meetings. 
  • Collaborate closely with product, designers, engineers, and scrum masters to ensure maximum effectiveness of the roadmap.
  • Execute product release plans in coordination with product marketing, implementation, professional services and documentation teams.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, manage risk, work with the release train to follow SAFe practices and adjust process based on organizational needs.
  • Assist Product Management in getting ready for the Program Increment(PI)
  • Coach Lean-Agile methods and mindsets to leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters
  • Impediments should be escalated and tracked

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience working as an RTE / Agile lead
  • Proven ability to leverage platform usage data to draw conclusions and transform into product improvements
  • Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and IT leaders - Strong collaboration skills
  • Agile Certification(s) such as (SAFe Program Consultant, Safe Release Train Engineer, and/or Advanced Scrum Master) for SAFe Practice Management leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting in front of internal and external junior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately
  • Experience in Agile software development methodology and familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle management 
  • High energy, self-starter, team player, delivers results.
  • Good sense of humor and enthusiasm for working in fast-paced and innovative environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Healthcare a definite plus
